TRAINING/INSTRUCTION SERVICES
Steadfast Solutions currently offers training to clients of different ages. The following are the training services we offer divided into the various age groups we serve: Youth,Seniors, and Adults,
Digital Storytelling: This training assists participants in utilizing digital media. These skills help them create media-rich stories they can both share and preserve. In this class, students are empowered with a tool, with which they can express themselves; the youth create stories about their lives and even work on school projects. Digital stories derive their power through weaving images, music, narrative, and voice together, thereby giving deep dimension and vivid colors to characters, situations and insights.
Digital Music: This training teaches participants the vast ways of composing modern music while utilizing music theory and the different tools of the award winning Fruity Loops and Acid software. They implement the various techniques for different genres of music. After working hands-on with rules and techniques, each participant is given the liberty to navigate the software and create his or her own music for distribution via web or CD.
Animation: In this course we would train participants the process of producing high-quality traditionally animated films, which regularly use detailed drawings and plausible movement. In order to accomplish this we would use the industry recognized software called 3D Max.
3D Max is a full-featured 3D modeling, animation, and rendering solution used to produce top-selling games and award-winning film and video content. It’s a tool of choice for quickly generating realistic characters, seamless CG effects, jaw-dropping games, and top-quality film and television content. Enhanced toolsets enable you to create your 3D environment the way you want, manage complex scenes, and take advantage of improved software interoperability and pipeline-integration support.
Image Creation and Editing: This course would introduce the participant to art of creating images and also help them edit already existing. Their images can be transferred into their animations and digital stories. Some kids can even utilize skilled learned in this course to Design Album covers for their music. For this course the students would learn Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk, Cad, etc.
Homework/ Project Assistance: We provide this service primarily to students in middle school through college. Steadfast Solutions provides educational tutoring to those in need; we keep track of student’s grades in order to properly access the areas they struggle. In addition to helping students with their homework, we also help students with any school projects that require assistance.
College Prep Workshop: In this workshop we help participant who aspire to attend college. Steadfast Solutions aids in the preparation process, assisting residents to researching schools consistent with their career ambitions. We also help residents with SAT exam preparation, and act as consultants throughout the college application process.
Computer Basics: This course is primarily geared towards our senior residents in our Senior Café program. We instruct out senior residents on the basics of computers; navigating the desktop, using the Internet, file management, and different operating system environment. The goal of this course is to make a beginner comfortable using computers and the software’s that are available.
Internet Exploration/ Emailing: In this course residents learn all about the capabilities of the World Wide Web. They’ll learn how to use e-mail, perform Internet research, listen and read current news, shop safely, etc.
Memory/ Brain Enhancement Program: In this Program participants get the opportunity to measure their IQ and 53 other key components of their intelligence and creativity. Most importantly they will be provided with vigorous mental workouts to improve their IQ and the previously mentioned 53 key components of their intelligence and creativity.

Seniors who participate in this training use it to tell their history. Digital stories derive their power through weaving images, music, narrative, and voice together, thereby giving deep dimension and vivid colors to characters, situations and insights.
Microsoft Office Suites: Steadfast Solutions teaches participants various programs that are comprised in Microsoft Offices software, some of these programs include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. The goal is for residents to develop proficiency in these programs, in order to help the youth with their school demands, and to provide the adults with valuable skills pertinent to building substantial resumes. Attached is a copy of the course syllabus as a sample. Participants at the end of the course are able to create a professional Resume; Construct a working Budget; Make a PowerPoint presentation, compose a personal essay, and a host of other working skills they can transfer to a work environment.
Digital Storytelling: This training assists participants in utilizing digital media. These skills help them create media-rich stories they can both share and preserve. In this class, students are empowered with a tool, with which they can express themselves; The adults use this tool to advertise their products or services, and share their history. Digital stories derive their power through weaving images, music, narrative, and voice together, thereby giving deep dimension and vivid colors to characters, situations and insights.
Computer Design Workshop: In this workshop, participants are taught all the functioning of the internal parts of a computer. They learn how to build a computer from scratch. Participants utilize these skills and apply them in building their very own, Personal Computer. There is no telling how valuable this skill has been to the residents who have taken part in this workshop. This skill is one that also looks great on their resumes.
Resume Building and Job Search Workshop: With the training in this workshop, participants build their own resumes in order to acquire jobs. They learn how to create cover letters for their resumes, and how to appropriately utilize the Internet as a resource in finding employment. This is one of the workshops that are ongoing; we work one-on-one with residents who are looking to find jobs.
OTHER SERVICES
Life Development Workshop: Steadfast Solutions provides need-based counseling and mediation to residents regarding conflict resolution, grief management, etc.
